It began in 2000 as Delport & Ward, with Ron Ward (BA LLB, Adv Dip Labour, admitted 1996) as a founding partner, and it was later also known as Ward, Ward & Pienaar. Julia Ward, admitted in 2001 and a conveyancer and notary, set up the conveyancing department and became a partner in 2004. Johann Brink, admitted in 2009 and a conveyancer and notary since 2012, joined the partnership in 2012 and runs much of the dispute work.
