It is led by its director, SD Nel, and has grown into a team with two further admitted attorneys and three candidate attorneys, most of them North-West University graduates. The practice has two sides. One is criminal: defending people facing charges, bail, and civil claims against the Minister of Police, including a reported 2021 win and published work on when police may arrest without a warrant. The other is commercial: business rescue, sequestrations and liquidations, CIPC compliance such as beneficial ownership filings, company restructuring, debt collection and property disputes. The firm also handles PIE and ESTA evictions and acts for landowners whose farms are subject to land restitution claims.
The office is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, and there is a separate after-hours number that also takes WhatsApp messages. The firm describes itself as a level 4 B-BBEE contributor.
